- Lead the Archives and Special Collections (ASC) department in all aspects of collections management, acquisition, preservation, and access.
- Supervise two full-time archivists, graduate and undergraduate student workers, research assistants, and interns
- Successfully expanded the ASC department, to include two full-time archivist positions, creating a new collections archivist role and restructuring an assistant level role into a reference archivist position.
- Plan and administer department budgetary needs and spending. Integrate fiscally responsible strategies with sustainable stewardship of collections and collection development goals.
- Created and/or significantly revised policies and procedures to align with best practices.
- Advocated for and successfully reopened the Fogarty Reading Room to accommodate the development and rapid expansion of the instruction program and researcher use of the ASC.
- Initiated stronger collaboration between library/media instruction and the ASC, resulting in successful multi-media projects using primary sources.
- Managed the set up and implementation of Archives Space and Preservica systems; strategized with collections archivist to develop ongoing, long-range collections management projects.
- Oversee and contribute to comprehensive collections revision and reprocessing projects across ASC collections.
- Responsible for all aspects of donor relations and collection development. Coordinate with campus offices regarding records transfers and retention policy guidance.
- Regularly work with Institutional Advancement, Alumni Relations, and other campus partners.
- Coordinate a robust exhibitions schedule; As primary curator, chair the library exhibits committee, develop cross-campus collaborations, and manage student/class exhibit projects.
- Designed the Dear Future Friars Alumni Oral History Project; supervised a research assistant and collaborated with digital projects to collect 15 interviews with alumni of color.
